This happens because, although we may wish for something different, the discomfort of change and the fear of stepping into the "unknown" often keeps us stuck in our comfort zone, where everything feels familiar and safe.
We often mistake the familiarity of knowing what we will feel and experience for being in control, when in reality, the opposite is true. When you live on autopilot, life happens to you, and you can only react to what unfolds.
In this area, it’s also easy to get caught up in other people's choices and paths. After years of ignoring your own inner guidance, you may have developed habits that no longer align with who you are today.
Getting to know yourself, becoming aware of the choices you make, being present in your actions, and understanding why you do what you do — knowing that your choices are truly your own, deliberate, and feel good — that is when you are truly in control of your life.
